Royal Defence Corps (GV) 2nd Pattern Cap Badge - Officers?
Second pattern version of this corps' cap badge, circular as usually encountered with GV cypher. This is die struck but in a bronze finish with two loops (east - west) rather than the usual slider. West Africa - Southern Nigeria Volunteers White Metal Officer's Waist Belt Clasp
A white metal waist belt clasp. A matched WBC without benchmarks. The white metal is a little grubby but the detail is sharp and it is in good condition.
This unit was a volunteer force formed in 1902 for use in emergencies.
Similar in look and design to the WBC in Renfrew et al, Vol 1 No 390 for the Lagos Railway Volunteers. Rare.

Gloucestershire Glosters Other Rank's Pagri Back Badge - Variety as worn on the 1881-1914 White Foreign Service Helmet
Die struck in gilding metal with original slider for wear with the Wolseley / white foreign service helmet. Circa 3.2cms in wide and 2.9cms tall with original crimped slider to reverse. In very good condition. Commemorates the regiment's back to back action at Alexandria in 1801. A rare pagri badge. See final photo for an image of it being worn.

A small an unusual badge, worn on the front corded boss and as a side badge on the Rifles Astrakhan hat and unique to the 4/5th Royal Scots (TA) - Queen's Own Edinburgh Rifles. Die struck in bronze with two copper metal prongs for attachment to the hat / cord, circa 26mm tall and 24mm wide. See final photo for it being worn.

East Yorkshire (formerly 15th Foot) Regiment Mess Waiter's Button
A large button at 27mm in diameter, open backed with fixed shank and maker marked Firmin & Sons Ld, St Martins Lane, London. Some wear to silver plate, a small ding and some light staining to front otherwise in good condition. Circa 1894 - 1908 (with this address to the reverse). Scarce.
