2,8cm tall with enamel intact and only minor wear to gilt. Horsehoe fitting slightly bent over but still functional and back stamped Thomas Fattorini, Bolton. Fattorini moved from the Bolton offices to Birmingham in 1917. read more
Scarce Federation of Malaya Home Guard / National Service Badge, circa 1948 - 1957
An other ranks die-cast in brass with two original lugs to the reverse (one has some damage but still functional). These were worn by the local HG villagers armed with shotguns etc, and the badge was worn on their everyday clothes (my thanks to Stephen Risby for confirming this).

South African WW2 Flash - 1st Infantry Division Formation sign / Pagri flash
Original dark green and yellow cloth diamond. Hessian packed. Note the mothing to the yellow section. Circa 7.2cm tall and 5.7cm wide. Note my item 51787 where it is worn as a back cloth to a cap badge. The rust at the back does suggest a pin fixing to s solar helmet pagri. read more
Scarce WW1 24th New Zealand Reinforcements to the 1st New Zealand Expeditionary Force Bronze Collar Badge
Give the dog a bone! "Holdfast" being the motto - and don't let it go. Somebody had a good sense of humour in designing this badge. With two original hexagonal lugs (as typical of this series). Good sharp detail Circa 2.1cm tall and 2.8cm wide. Again the cap badge is a different design to this collar badge.
