The Muslim element of the former Governor General and Viceroy's Bodyguard, the device suitably altered with the Crescent and Star in place of the crown and the letters PBG on the centre of crossed lancers. WW2 War Raised Unit - 23rd Hussars Bi-Metal Cap Badge - with reinforcing bar

In tip top bright unissued condition with original slider, strengthening bar to reverse of crown and sweat / braising expansion holes to rear. Die struck with sharp detail and of exceptional quality. This is pattern of manufacture is attributed to JR Gaunt & Sons, but unmarked (the lettering to the reverse of the scroll is the reverse image of the word "Hussars").
