WW1 era 3D three pence 1913 dated silver coin - obverse engraved with the Lords Prayer in 14 lines!
Popular in the WW1 as gifts to the troops, a superbly detailed 3D (three old pence) silver coin which as been adapted to carry a completely legible engraving of the full length version of the Lords Prayer. WW2 1945 Xmas South African Cigarette Gift Tin To The Troops
An empty metal cigarette tin, but still with its original cardboard insert and paper mesh cover. Painted silver with "NUWEJAAR. NEW YEAR. 1945" in red and black letters on the lid. Lid also bears an image of two heads and shows a Springbok in a large red "V". Inside is autographed by Isie K Smuts and says "welcome new year with peace"

Circa 19mm in diameter, fixed shank and maker marked Hicks & Sons, London. Silver plated but now dark toned, minor wear to plate on highpoints. It appears the manufacturer made a mistake on the spelling of Kamloops as it is "Kanloops" on the button, but the central crest on the button is correct one for Kamloops in British Columbia, Canada.
