Victorian East Surrey Regiment Brass Pagri Cap Badge - Pin Fitting
A pleasing genuine example of this much copied badge with its original 'stout' pin fitting to the reverse. This is the second pattern worn, there was an earlier version of the star without the QVC crown above. Circa 4.2cms tall.

A very attractive sweetheart badge to the Seaforth Highlanders ( formerly the 72nd and 78th Highlanders) in good condition with pin fittings to the reverse, however please note the 'pin' which has been used to replace the original barrel pin. Early Coldstream Guards Other Ranks Brass Gilding Metal Cap Badge
An early good straight and stiff badge with sharp detail and two original lugs to the reverse (slight twisting from wear).
Kipling & King attribute this squarer pattern badge as worn on the Brodrick cap, 1902-1905. Later patterns had more of a scalloped edge between the rays.

Circa 25mm in diameter, fixed shank, maker marked to reverse Jennens & Co Ltd, London. Some loss of detail to high points and gilt mainly back to brass otherwise in good condition. King's Crown (1902 - 1952). Jennens were acquired in 1924 by Gaunt so an earlier issue.
