A stunning heavy quality helmet plate in mint condition with all three original loops to the reverse. An eight pointed star, the top most point displaced by a St Edward's Crown ( QEII pattern) with laurel wreath and scroll inscribed ""Gibraltar"" applied to the top and fouled anchor to the junction below. A scarce cloth embroidered in red RNH with a red anchor on a black background, as worn by VAD detachments serving in Royal Naval Hospitals. A circular badge, circa 5.8cm in diameter. This pattern was worn in WW1 and WW2 only. Looking at the construction this I would say it was of WW2 vintage. In very good condition and scarce.
