WW2 1st Armoured Division (1st Pattern) & 2nd Armoured Brigade Printed Formation Sign

This pattern depicted a rather static rhinoceros and was replaced in 1942 with the second pattern which had an image of a charging rhino. Removed eom uniform, a bit wrinkled, with black backing cloth so not possible to see the usual 'bleed through' of the image against the light as found with printed cloth badges, but completely original. This badge continued to be worn by the 2nd Armoured Brigade when the Division was broken up after the break through of the Gothic Line in Italy.
