Cheshire Regiment Pair of Other Ranks Facing Collar Badges
A facing but not quite matching pair of other ranks gilding metal collar badges with two original lugs to the reverse of each. Some light polishing to the highpoints. Correctly worn with stem of acorn facing inwards towards on the collar. Slight colour variation but otherwise a reasonable match from the front. As worn from 1898 - 1922.

Cheshire Regiment Theatre Made Cast Bi-Metal Cap Badge - G Karenjee & Sons, Aligarh, India
These badges were allegedly made in 1933 for the 1st Battalion, stationed at various locations in India from 1922 until 1938. Some twisting to slider which is maker marked ‘GK & S. A.’ In good overall condition and scarce.

In good condition (slight polishing to acorn) with two original dark toned loops to the reverse with large braising / sweat/ expansion hole to the centre of the reverse. Gaylor confirms an all brass WW1 economy version. This pattern worn until 1922. See item 60066 for a slidered version.
