A scarce badge to this Anglo-Boer War cap badge, three dark toned original lugs to the reverse and with four sweat / braising holes to the reverse. Sharp detail, some traces of dried polish otherwise in very good condition. Worn on a rosette on the slouch hat. One of my favourite badges.

A rare Special Inspector's badge, indicated by the white enamel. Constables wore red, Sergeants blue and Inspectors white enamel badges. A very small "square mile " force. One edge ding to top and a couple of spots of crazing to the enamel and a small crack in the enamel in the word Police otherwise in very good condition with enamel intact and gilt bright.
