WW2 49th Infantry Division (West Riding) Original Printed Formation Sign Designation Flash
3rd Pattern as worn later in WW2, from April 1943 onwards. In bright unissued condition, mint.
The 49th.Division were part of 21st Army Group and landed with the invasion forces in Normandy in June 1944.

"The Dear Dolly" Series of Postally Used Boer War Generals Original Postcards
A series of postally used postcards, all addressed to "Dear Dolly" from Harry, and all sent in 1904 from London to an Eastbourne Address. All a bit grubby and all sepia, postally used and one each for Lt-Col Baden Powell, General Sir Redvers Buller, Sir George White VC and Major General Lord Kitchener. Still, I thought it was important to keep them together. A nice set. read more
