51st Independent Infantry Brigade - Uncut Matched Facing Pair of Printed Cloth Formation Signs, circa 1950s
In good condition, with minor rust mark to the reverse. Circa 11.5cm wide (both) and 5.7cm tall.

WW2 1st Pattern Eastern Command (UK) Facing & Matched Pair of Silk Woven Formation Signs
Removed from uniform, facing and appear to be matched, one slightly brighter white than the other but in very good condition. HQ Luton, territory covered East Anglia and Central Midlands. This pattern with a bulldog was worn until 1947 only and then replaced by a Viking's head above crossed swords.

Removed from uniform, a printed cloth formation sign in good condition . PAI Command / Force served in this area keeping vital supply lines with Russia open. Also quelled the Iraq rebellion of 1941. Badge design attributed to General commanding whose nickname was Jumbo! Worn by British HQ troops in Iraq following the disbandment of PAI. Rare.
