This badge was worn on both lower sleeves by Corps of Military Police (CMP) Vulnerable Points Wing formed in May 1941 and worn only until about1943. Blue to front a bit grubby from service wear otherwise in good overall condition. Scarce.

ATS Attached Royal Corps of Signals Felt Cloth Formation Sign
Formed in October 1940 from ATS (Auxiliary Territorial Service), an all female unit who had eight months earlier replaced Royal Signals Teleprinter and telephone switchboard operators. Removed from uniform, in worn condition with some moth grazing to felt and slight separation between the triangles when viewed from front, on hessian backing.

Scarce king's crown officer's die cast bronze service dress cap badge with two blades to the reverse. The number " 1 " to the centre of a crowned bugle horn above the furled title scroll. Worn by the 1st Nyasaland Battalion King's African Rifles. May have been lacquered, but in superb condition.
