East Africa - Kenya Regiment (TF) Officer's Cap Badge

A UK made die cast gilt brass example of a charging Cape Buffalo (the most dangerous animal in Africa).
The badge has a softly polished look, with two original dark toned copper loops to the reverse. Some light staining to reverse. It has a pleasing quality and weight to it. As worn from 1937 - 1963.

A large and impressive other ranks quality pagri badge in cast white metal, looks to have been silver-plated, depicting a crowned quoit with a seated Chinthern to voided centre, '90' below and a scroll 'Punjabis', stout pin back with original fittings. Circa 7.2cms tall. Worn circa 1903-1922.

Mid Victorian 1st Fifeshire Mounted Rifle Volunteer Corps (FMRV) Other Ranks Large Pattern White Metal Button

Circa 25.5mm in diameter, scalloped edge with the monogram FMRV, fixed shank and maker marke C& J Weldon, London. Looks to be of Other Ranks quality. In very good condition with sharp detail.

Formed in 1860, they were renamed as the 1st Fifeshire Light Horse Volunteer Corps in 1870. In 1908 became The Fifeshire & Forfarshire Yeomanry.

Die struck quality yellow brass cap badge with three original dark toned loops to the reverse. Some squeezing to loops and twisting but still functional. Sharp detail and scarce. Circa 24.5mm in diameter. fixed shank, maker marked Hobson & Son's, London W. Looks to be of other ranks quality but in very good condition with sharp detail.

Styled as the Lothians and Berwickshire Yeomanry Cavalry from 1888 until 1908 (including being styled as Imperial Yeomanry until 1908). Thereaffter title and button design changed to Lothians and Border Horse.

3 Different Editions of the WW2 Red Cross & St John's Ambulance Prisoners of War Newspaper Bulletin

All in good condition, if a little fragile, printed on economy wartime quality paper with a few little tears and all with rusty staples. The editions are for May 1943, August 1943 and September 1944. This is all I have currently.
