An original version of this sadly now much copied shoulder title with two original loops to the reverse, its original backing plate and cotter pin. Some staining but otherwise in good condition.
Worn by the 15th and 17th (1st Leeds and 2nd Leeds) (Service Battalions) of the West Yorkshire Regiment (The Prince of Wales's Own).

Miniature versions of the glengarry badge, this unit wore collar badges of a small size from 1904 until 1908 only. Die struck in white metal with two original loops to the reverse (some service wear to these). Not an exact match but display reasonably well together. Circa 26mm tall. Rare.

Victorian 2nd Royal Lanark Militia Officers Badge
A scarce white metal officers badge, nicely domed. The Lanark Militia were originally formed in Napoleonic times. This badge stems from around the Crimean War. The 2nd were formed in 1854. They were later amalgamated into the 4th Battalion Cameronians (Scottish Rifles).
