An Indian made example, sand cast in brass with original slider to the reverse. Of two part construction with a white metal numeral '4' mounted to the centre. Circa 3.7cms tall. Some loss of detail to the flames in the casting process otherwise in good condition. Worn 1922 - 1945.

An attractive badge, cast and silver plated with two original loops to the reverse. It depicts the head of an urial ram, a wild sheep of Western Asia with the scroll below bearing the unit title, surmounted by a King's crown. Circa 4.2cms tall.
