Introduced in the early 1930s and abolished in 1950, this steering wheel brass badge was awarded to Mechanised Batteries of the Royal Artillery and from 1936 to Royal Engineer and Royal Signals also, at the rate of one prize per unit and were also worn in WW2 to signify driving instructors. Scarce WW1 RF Royal Fusiliers Large Pattern Brass Shoulder Title
Large pattern which, according to Westlake was adapted from Royal Engineer ( RE ) titles. In good condition with two original lugs to the reverse. Circa 17mm tall and 2.6cm wide. Minor service wear otherwise in very good condition. The Tyneside Scottish wore a similar large sized shoulder title on the greatcoat.

WW1 Hampshire Carabiniers Yeomanry Officer's Bronze OSD Cap / Collar Badge - Jennens
Scarce officer's service dress die cast bronze cap badge with 2 original loops to reverse (also worn as a Collar badge in this size). Maker's name J & Co. The Hampshire rose to the centre of a crowned oval bearing the title backed by a pair of crossed rifles with the 'Carabiniers' scroll across the rifle butts. King's crown. 7th (Territorial Force) Battalion Pair of Officers Bronze OSD Collar Badges
Non matching, but similar. top suspension of one is unvoided. To the reverse slightly different die used for casting. Still the display together well and are of equal colour finish. Loops present and correct. Scarce.
The dog gauge badge, which resembled a stirrup was used to measure the size of dogs entering the Royal Forest to protect the Royal Deer.
