Red square on a point on a blue square within a grey border) is for Forestry Companies 1940-1941, Australian Forestry Group 1941-1943 and RAE (Forestry) 1943-1946.

A fabulous and clear image of the officer's and CSMs of this DLI cap badge wearing Home Guard Battalion, and ranks and signatures have been attached to the image. The names given have enabled he to ascertain that these are the commanders of the 14th Battalion who had their HQ at Houghton-Le-Spring. A large original sepia portrait photo mounted on card of a Lance Corporal of the Machine Gun Corps (MGC) with ribbon bars for the 1914 or 1914-15 star and what looks like a French medal such as a Medaille Commemorative De La Guerre, 1914 - 1918. Indian Army - 16th Punjab Regiment Large White Metal Helmet Plate Pagri Badge
A large white metal finely cast theatre-made badge in the form of a crowned Maltese cross, behind which is a Muslim crescent, bearing a Sikh quoit with ‘16’ to centre. “PUNJAB REGT” below, with two small original copper loops to the reverse (north-south). Indian Army - 10th Baluch Regiment Other Rank's Cast White Metal Cap Badge
A flat backed example in white metal (possibly silver plated) with two original integral loops to reverse. Theatre cast. See my item 68108 for an officer's cap badge.
This pattern was introduced in 1945 and worn until 1956. After Independence the Regiment was transferred to Pakistan.
