A genuine example with lugs removed (they were north - south) and expertly attached permanently to a brass menu ring stand which has an upright ring for holding the menu card / place setting name card. Complete with its original blades, maker marked 'A Stanley & Sons, Walsall' and ' 1-A'. In good overall condition with little distortion and no crazing of the cellulose acetate plastic.
