WW1 9th Gurkha Rifles Blackened Brass Shoulder Title
A scarce early pattern as worn by all ranks from circa 1903 - 1920. Some bending from service wear otherwise in good condition for age and hard to find. Circa 28mm wide and 17mm tall.

Parachutist (non-operational) Silver Bullion ' Light Bulb ' Proficiency Arm Badge
Silver bullion thread on lincoln green felt circular disk, circa 4.5cms in diameter, with a black hessian backing (seom glue to reverse of this). In very good condition with some age to it. Came with a large Gurkha Rifles collection.
Apparently awarded for having completed four parachute jumps but that the individual so awarded had not been called forward for operational duties... read more

Circa 8cm across, with two original dark toned loops to the reverse. Some bending to loops otherwise In good condition. The final photo shows this item against a cap badge in a 'little and large' comparison. The cap badge is for sale elsewhere and not included with this lot.

WW1 Era 9th Gurkha Rifles Officer's Pair of Officer's Epaulettes for the Rank of Captain
A matching pair of epaulettes, hacked from service dress tunic, with quite a bit of hole damage and tearing to the service dress but providing a securing base for the blackened rank pips and the medium pattern black plastic buttons for 9GR and two blackened brass shoulder titles, 9G (9GR F9). Sold as seen, no return on these items.

Die struck with two original loops to the reverse (east - west). Finish looks like silver plated but unmarked. Complete with "eyebrows" - see my item 67626 for an example with "sans eyebrows"! In superb condition with sharp detail.
