A pre 1952 example, silver and gold wire embroidered with coloured silks, in issued condition. Only a small amount of black paper backing remains to the reverse. In good overall worn condition and colours bright. This pattern was worn from 1902. Circa 5.8cms tall including the green felt backing.

An unusual and rare find as depicted in Westlake. An informed source with provenance has recently confirmed this was worn by 2nd Battalion between the wars. With three original hexagonal loops to the reverse (as found on the only other example I have handled). In very good undamaged condition. Circa 4.7cms tall and 4.4cms wide. Rare.
