A theatre made badge with two original loops (n-s) to the reverse. Appears to be have been plated byt back to the brass on the front. Mounted on an aged rectangle of blue felt cloth. This appears to be the original badge backing. Some fading to this.

A good original Second World War period 'Overseas Service badge'; bronzed circular example bearing heavily embossed floral wreath, enclosing a Crown over crossed swords and star, wavy title scroll across the centre. A large die struck Scottish glengarry cap badge with two original loops the reverse. Circa 5.7cms tall. An attractive badge in good condition, slight polishing to highpoints and topmost tips of wings slightly curled in. This has the quality and look of an earlier badge but it was also worn post 1908 by the Trinity College Glenalmond Officer Training Corps OTC.
