Anodised QE2 Crown on Black patent leather wrist fitting, with backing plate and cotter pin, but missing the wrist strap. Leather cracked from wear and some staining to reverse but otherwise a pleasing example and black backing suggesting as worn by Sergeant Majors' of Rifle / Gurkha regiments.

Worn only in RAOC units responsible for the storage, supply, maintenance, repair, inspection and modification of all ammunition used in the British Army, plus disposal. Minimum, rank is Corporal and by Warrant Officers on right arm. This pattern worn until 1960. Circa 6.2cm tall.
Three original loops to the reverse and in very good condition.

This is not your typical pattern (see item 54159 to see the typical pattern). It has three drones so I believe this is Scottish rather than Irish, but happy to be corrected. Circa 6cm tall and 4.4cm wide, with two original lugs to the reverse. In very good condition. read more
WW2 Wireless Proficiency Embroidered Cloth Arm Badge, Khaki Fist with White Flashes
Removed from uniform. Worn 1942 - 1946 but unofficial private purchase by Infantry signallers with the operator, fire control, keyboard and line, wireless and keyboard skills. (Royal Signallers with such skills wore the same badge but with a red rather than khaki fist - see my item 66830).
