Circa 21mm in diameter, open backed with fixed shank. Maker marked Hammond, Tuner & Dickinson (operated out of 100 Snowhill, Birmingham from 1790 to 1823) to reverse. Victorian Northamptonshire & Rutland Militia Officers Silver Plated Large Pattern Button
Circa 25mm in diameter, fixed shank, with maker marks POW feathers / Jennens & Co, London to the reverse. Silver plate is dark toned, minor service wear, but sharp detail. Worn circa 1855 - 1881. Presumably as England's smallest county, Rutland was unable to raise its own establishment of militia.

Circa 23mm in diameter, fixed shank, silver plate now very dark toned. Backmarked CR&Co Extra Rich (Charles Rowley & Co., 146-148 High Street, Bordesley Birmingham). A scarce maker, who also supplied buttons through the blockade to some units American units active in the American Civil War.
