Scarce Lancashire Fusiliers Anodised Aluminium AA Large Pattern Button, King's Crown

Early and scarce anodised aluminium button, gilt coloured, circa 26mm in diameter. Fixed shank. Blank reverse. This pattern was worn until 1961, but with a King's crown this probably dates to pre 1953. Good condition.

The garter strap as the designation 1st Bat Shropshire Rifles Volunteers. Some light tarnishing and some wear to silver plate on the high points of the button. Scarce.

Northumberland Fusiliers ( NF ) Volunteer Territorial Officer's Mess Dress of Cap reversed metals small pattern button

Mounted gilt device on silver plated button base, with fixed shank and backmarked Gaunt London. Circa 16mm in diameter. The Volunteers and Territorials wore reversed metal buttons, as found here. Worn circa 1883 - 1914. In very good condition. Scarce.
