EDVII Army Veterinary Corps (AVC) Officer's Large Pattern Gilt Button

Circa 26mm wide, fixed shank, maker marked Jennens & Co London with PoW feathers. An early Army Veterinary Corps Officer's Button, worn circa 1906 - 1910 with King Edward VII cypher to centre. In very good condition, gilt bright. Rare.

For the GV cypher pattern, worn from 1911 to 1918 see my item 58860. In 1918 they acquired the prefix Royal and the button pattern changed to a centaur.
