The Border Regiment Other Ranks White Metal Collar Badge, pre 1906
A die struck example with red velvet backing to voided centre which is retained by its original brass strips and with two original loops to the reverse. Battle honours to Inkerman only. Worn from 1881 and replaced in 1906 with a version incorporating the South African battle honours. In very good condition.

North Staffordshire Regiment Bi-Metal Other Rank's Collar Badge
In good condition with two original loops. Mounted on a black circular felt cloth disc, which supports its possible wear on the beret, see note below.
In the late 1940s officer's wore this pattern in their berets, initially an Other Ranks pattern (See Churchill p247).
