WW1 vintage small (each one is only 2.5cm tall) pattern collar badges. Two part construction with centre raised above the star. Sharp detail but slight wear highpoints of thistles on each. Both backmarked J&Co ( Jennens & Co ) and with two original lugs to each. One lug twisted and both some verdigris to reverses.

Single upright collar badge (worn vertically on the SD jacket) with St George facing left within a motto strap. This is a scarce find and according to Col. Denis Wood in his new 2nd Edition of " The Fifth Fusiliers and its Badges" a specimen pair is shown in one of Gaunt's ledgers in the National Army Museum and are annotated " 16th Battalion " which would narrow their use down to 191... read more

The monogram of Princess Victoria (PV) together with her coronet under an Egyptian sphinx and a blank tablet (blank as manufacturer's found the device too small to include the word "Egypt). Worn on the scarlet patrol jacket by officers 1896 - 1914, and by the Bandmaster in 1905 and 1906 on the collar of the scarlet tunic. Worn horizontal left and right facing. This is a facing pair (not matching but close), two part construction with two original lugs to each. Scarce. In good condition.
