7th (Territorial Force) Battalion Pair of Officers Bronze OSD Collar Badges
Non matching, but similar. top suspension of one is unvoided. To the reverse slightly different die used for casting. Still the display together well and are of equal colour finish. Loops present and correct. Scarce.
The dog gauge badge, which resembled a stirrup was used to measure the size of dogs entering the Royal Forest to protect the Royal Deer.

A left facing die struck bronze metal collar badge with two original lugs to the reverse of each. According to the Museum, as cited by Churchill, they were unpopular with the Regiment and only worn for one year, 1881 - 1882, even though the pattern that replaced them was not sealed until 1887.
