An embossed printed Christmas Card from Pte James Moore of Denby Huddersfield dated 1914 and with the crests of B Coy 8th (Durham City Territorial Bn) DLI and above the crest of Bede College with the words "Foreign Service".
Sadly he as KIA 14th May 1915 aged 21. Comes with a copy of his CWGC certificate and a copy of his obituary referred to below.

A WW2 wartime album, the property of Royal Navy Rating who appears to have served with the Fleet Air Arm judging by some of the photos. The album is almost full, with tissue paper between most pages. An interesting photographic record showing two very smart regular NCOs of the Royal Engineers in review and service dress respectively. Highgate School London OTC Annual Camp 1911 large original photograph - Middlesex Regiment Cap Badge
I have included a normal sized postcard to show the size of this gloss black and white photograph ( circa 19.5cm by 13cm). This is a group of seven public school boys. The date 1911 has been written on the reverse (School OTC units were first formed in 1908). Slight tear in image, but it has not left a hole, and one heavy corner crease.

HMS Good Hope - Raphael Tuck Oilette Art Postcard, sunk at Battle of Coronel November 1914
Commissioned in 1902, HMS Good Hope was a first class armoured cruiser. Some edge wear, minor corner creasing to two corners and some staining to the reverse.
