188 pages. profusely illustrated with black and white photos. It has a small number of colour plates. There is no date of publication, but given it is all about the training of this army, it suggests late 1915. Circa 28cm by 21.5cm.

Sanctioned for wear in 1938, and made by Royal Mint, this badge consisted of the letters TA between two horizontal lines across the centre of a circle. Below the circle is a lion springing aggressively forward with legs outstretched, the whole being surmounted by a king's crown. WW1 BWM plus ID Disc to RNVR / Royal Naval Division ( RND ) - Watson

Dark toned BWM with original ribbon, sek, otherwise NEF. Correctly impressed to:

" T.Z. 8693 N.J. Watson. A.B. R.N.V.R."

The WW1 rot proof fibre disc has the same details but with the addition of "Pres" ( Presbyterian ) and the letters R.N.D. for Royal Naval Division
