A solid non-voided version of the regular cap badge, a very indistinct striking in bronzy / coppery finish, which looks cheap and poorly struck, but has its loops correctly located e-w and at the very edge of the badge. These look like the water gilt pattern to me, as described by Colin Churhill on page 225. Some greening to reverse, typical with this kind of finish. In any event, a nice matched and facing pair with two original lugs to the reverse.
