Extremely rare WW I king 's crown bronze lapel badge with buttonhole fitting to the reverse worn by the R.N.V.R. Dover Anti-Aircraft Corps from 1914 until 1916. A fouled anchor and the letters,"R.N.V.R." to the centre of a roped circle with the crown above and the scroll,"Dover Anti-Aircraft Corps" below.

Blackened white metal lapel badge with buttonhole fixing to reverse. A rare badge to a voluntary unit formed in June 1915 to protect the cathedral from bombing raids. It numbered 260 men. Reraised in 1939 to do the same thing. Trained to deal with fires, incendiaries and gas attacks these volunteers protected the cathedral during the Blitz of Autumn 1940 to Spring 1941. A two construction brass grenade with two original loops to the reverse with HAC superimposed in white metal on the ball of the grenade as worn by Warrant Officers and Sergeants of the Infantry Battalion until 1954, when the colours were reversed. Scarce.

The cap badge is die struck brass with two hexagonal lugs to the reverse with registered design number RD 887 to the front below the letters NZ. Circa 4.8cm tall. The collar badge die struck brass (now dark toned) with two loops to the reverse. Circa 3.2cm tall.

The cap badge in semi die struck thick brass with a crudely applied slider with registered design number RD 970 to the front and to the left of the numerals 31. It does not appear to have ever had lugs. Circa 4.3cm tall. The collar badge die struck brass with two diagonal lugs to the reverse and RD and 970 to the front to either side of the scroll furls. Circa 3cm tall.
