WW2 Photographic Album of a Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Sailor HMS ARk Royal / HMS Garuda India - Cowley
A WW2 wartime album, the property of Royal Navy Rating who appears to have served with the Fleet Air Arm judging by some of the photos. The album is almost full, with tissue paper between most pages. Over 80 original mounted black and white photos (one with head portrait of owner cut out) and 8 black and white postcards of places he visited. In good condition.

Scarce Royal Fusiliers ( City of London Regiment ) Victorian Officers Scarlet Frock Coat Collar Badge
A scarce and very fine two part construction single large size officers gilt metal imitation embroidery grenade with a silver rose with two original lugs to the reverse. As worn horizontally in pairs on the scarlet Frock Coat in the late 1890s only. Also claimed by some as worn in the Officer's Field Service Cap. Circa 6.2cm tall and in good condition.

In good condition with two original loops to the reverse. A square of the correct Royal Stuart tartan, but this is quite thin and not as heavy as the other tartan badge backings listed. Came with badge and removed from display board.

This pattern, as worn from 1934 until 1952, without the scrolls. Lacessit spelling on motto. Kings crown. With two original loops to the reverse (bent inwards) and mounted on an original square of thick tartan cloth of the 42nd General Pattern. Tartan cloth came with badge as removed from a display board. Badge in excellent condition with sharp detail.
