Circa 26mm in diameter, fixed shank and maker marked J.W. Firmin & Sons Ld, London. In very good bright condition with a brilliant fire gilt finish. Some very minor wear. Worn 1855 - 1898. From 1898 they became the RAMC.

WW2 Tyneside Scottish ( 12th DLI / Black Watch Battalions) White Metal Cap Badge
In very good condition with two original long loops to the reverse. Some slight bending to the loops otherwise a fine looking badge. Also as worn by Tyneside Scottish Royal Artillery post WW2. This pattern was also worn in WW1 (3rd pattern) but with a horizontal pin fitting. Circa 5.6cm tall and 5.2cm wide.
