Pair of Mufti Blazer Buttons to the Northamptonshire Regiment (48th Foot)
A pair of gilt mufti blazer buttons, one 20.5mm and the other 14mm to the Northamptonshire Regiment, the number 48 in Roman numerals to centre of crowned garter, king's crown above and the battle honour Talavera on the garter. Larger one maker marked Pitt & Co, Maddox St, London. Some tarnishing otherwise reasonable condition.

A very scarce gilt button, two piece construction, fixed shank, back marked Jennens & Co, London. A small demi-ball button at circa 13mm in diameter. Gilt bright, in extremely good condition. The cypher on most of these buttons were extremely hard to read, but this one is simple with the letters KOR entwined below a Victorian crown.

WW1 Silver Hallmarked Watch Fob for 2nd Training Reserve Battalion 1917 ( DLI )
A Durham Light Infantry affiliated unit as it bears the crest for County Durham. Prior to 1917 this unit had been designated as the 17th (Reserve) Bn, the Durham Light Infantry. It was located at Rugeley.
Approx 33mm in height and atttactively engraved. Enamel in good condition. Reverse bears silver hallmarks.
