WW2 Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders ( A&SH) Diced Embroidered Cloth Flash Designation
Red and white diced with green ends on khaki. Circa 6.7cm wide and 2.5cm deep. Removed from uniform and in very good condition.
Worn by regular units but also worn by the 54th (Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders (ex 9th Bn)) Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment and 402nd Light Regiment, Royal Artillery (Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders ) (TA).

Aeronautical Inspection Directorate (AID) On HM Service Mini lapel badge - Ladies Issue
A small gilt brass and enamel lapel badge as worn by this civilian organisation involved in the quality control of the aviation manufacturing industry during WW2. Original pin fitting (fully functional) with maker details ‘Roden London’ to reverse. In very good condition with no damage to the enamel. Circa 2.2cm tall.

WW2 Monte Cassino Group Attributed to a Polish Soldier (Poland)
Acquired some time ago, these items all came together (so will not split), dog tags, cloth / bullion insignia and medal ribbon bar with the Monte Cassino metal attachment as worn by Polish forces present at the siege.

1914 Xmas Card from Pte James Moore Bede College Durham University / 8th Territorial Battalion Durham Light Infantry (DLI)
An embossed printed Christmas Card from Pte James Moore of Denby Huddersfield dated 1914 and with the crests of B Coy 8th (Durham City Territorial Bn) DLI and above the crest of Bede College with the words "Foreign Service".
Sadly he as KIA 14th May 1915 aged 21. Comes with a copy of his CWGC certificate and a copy of his obituary referred to below.
