A large stiff die struck badge in white metal with King's Own Borderers in the circle ( No "Scottish", which was not added to the title until 1887). A lovely badge with sharp detail and two original brass loops (a good sign on an early badge) to the reverse. Circa 7.4cm tall. Worn 1884 - 1887.

A scarce original early Second World War 1939 to 1940 period Mechanised Transport Training Corps hat badge in the form of a motor car wheel and tyre, the voided centre bearing crossed spanners each with a raised letter 'MTTC' with motto scroll below 'Pro Patria' all in die cast light coloured bronze with original pin fittings. Zululand Mounted Rifles Collar Badge, circa 1903 - 1913
Very scarce Zululand Mounted Rifles (ZMR) collar badge, right facing, worn only c. 1904 -1913. Gilt suggests officer's issue, die struck, with two original lugs to the reverse. Circa 3.1cm tall and 3.4cm wide. Rhino above motto scroll is "Wa Tshe Tsha" and the scroll below this carries the words Zululand Mounted Rifles. Some slight wear to gilt on highpoints but a very scarce badge.
