Single Bronze collar badge with two original lugs to the reverse. Circa 3.8cm tall. In good condition. Note the lack of the beaver at the base of the tree which is on the top of the shield. This is the very scarce early pattern badge.

Awarded to returning servicemen and marked sterling Silver. With original retaining nut. Reverse has been embossed with a stark warning - Penalty for Misuse - 500 dollars or six months' imprisonment. Numbered 377299. In very good condition but silver is now dark toned. Circa 2 cm tall.

A scarce battalion shoulder title to the 249th " Heads Up " Battalion. Two original lugs to the reverse. Circa 3.3cm wide and 1.3cm tall. Some tarnish but will clean up.

Flare Pistol / Gun - Relic Condition - RAF issue
An absolute monster in the hand and of considerable weight. The flare pistol was a feature of every day life in the trenches but this one looks larger than those found as issued to the British Army with a 1.5 inch muzzle. Apparently this is a RAF issue recovered from the seabed. This is completely seized up so no need for a firearms licence and I cannot see any markings. Painted with black... read more
