A stunning badge in silver plate and of two part construction with four original screw posts and one remaining original retaining nut with washer. Back-marked "Hobson & Son Lexington St, London". Worn with the standard lion's head boss and whistle and chain of the universal pattern in silver plate. Circa 9.3cm tall by 7.4cm wide. An unmarked silver circlet inscribed 'For King And Empire Services Rendered' bearing crowned 'GRI' Imperial Cypher to voided centre.
