A good scarce pre 1901 die stamped gilding metal example. Two original loops to the reverse. Some verdigris to the reverse of the grenade otherwise in superb condition with sharp detail.

Other ranks shoulder title with two original loops to the reverse. The English Rose surmounted by a coronet to the centre of a Garter Star on the ball of a fused grenade flanked by the letters, " R.F. " Introduced towards the end of WW1.
