The monogram UPH under a padded velvet crown with coloured silks, the badge in good bullion thread. Much of orange backing paper now absent, otherwise in great condition with no damage to the bullion or velvet. Circa 1904 - 1947. In very good condition and rare.

A large title, circa 2.9cm wide and 2cm tall. Indian made, of very good quality. Circa 1897 - 1920 (I believe 'IMD' was worn from 1920 - 1947).
Comprised of Indian native and anglo Indian staff who served as assistant surgeons. The 'subordinate' was dropped in 1920.

A scarce heavy yellow brass other ranks WBC but rather crudely made, poorly fitting and badly cast. Despite this, a rare survivor as officers' versions were private purchase. If nothing else, it could serve as a gap filler until you can find a better one (if ever!).
