Made from bi-metal and in good condition with two original lugs to the reverse and four sweat / brazing holes to the reverse. This is the earlier variety with straight scrolls and a broader coronet. Circa 4.3cm tall. In good condition.

SWB ( South Wales Borderers ) Embroidered White on Red Felt Cloth Shoulder Title, worn 1943
Paste back, some glue and green felt to the reverse and two marks to the front on either side of the lettering otherwise in reasonable condition. The short title was worn in 1943 only (ACI 905, dated 12th June 1943). Condition reflected in price.
Davis No 293 refers (he classifies this as Fairly Scarce to Rare).
