Victorian brass cap badge with three original loops mounted on its original red and blue rosette to the reverse. As worn by the 18th Battalion (Sharpshooters) Imperial Yeomanry. The letters " SS " surmounted by a QVC crown. Some staining to the finish on the brass otherwise in very good condition.

A chromed white metal set, possibly NCO issue, a bit of a marriage potentially with scroll marked Firmin. With original loops, bottom one on stags head bent down for comfort of wear. In good overall condition.
Officially abbreviated "QO HLDRS," an infantry regiment of the British Army, part of the Scottish Division. It was in existence from 1961 to 1994.

Cambridgeshire Regiment (Territorial Force) Bi-Metal Cap Badge with South Africa 1900-01 Scroll
A scarce cap badge with the scroll part of the main badge (not separately attached) with original slider to the reverse. Five sweat / expansion / braising holes to reverse visible on the reverse. The South Africa scroll was worn as a battle honour due to the volunteers of the 3rd Cambs VBs which fought in the Boer War attached to the Suffolk Regiment.

Removed from uniform, in very good condition. Some traces of glue to the reverse.
Formed in 1942 and attached to Commando HQ. There were two signalmen per Commando Troop. This is the second pattern introduced later in 1942 (previously it had been white on black). In unissued condition, circa 5.6cm tall. Worn by units of the Army 24 Commando Royal Engineer Regiment HQ North Devon. Worn by officers of the 54, 56 and 59 Squadrons and 131 T.A. Volunteers, the latter HQ in London. The classic RE grenade in gold bullion on green background signifying a Commando.

Silver bullion thread on black felt circular disk, circa 4.5cm in diameter, with hessian backing. In very good condition with some age to it.
Apparently awarded for having completed four parachute jumps but that the individual so awarded had not been called forward for operational duties. Nicknamed Light Bulb men. See Edwards & Langley No 88.
