5th West York Militia Officer's Silver Plated Waist Belt Clasp ( WBC ) - Also of Yorkshire Regiment ( Green Howards ) Interest
A rare, silvered, waist-belt clasp for an officer of The 5th West York Militia with matching benchmarks ( No 1). In excellent condition with some tarnishing. Raised in 1853.
In 1881, the 5th West Yorks Militia became the 3rd Militia Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment ( Green Howards ). See Hayes "The Constitutional Force" p.295).

WW2 War Raised Unit - 22nd Dragoons Die Struck White Metal Cap Badge - JR Gaunt London
White metal die struck cap badge with original slider to reverse, stamped JR Gaunt London (no dot). Sealed pattern 1941. Note the voided Roman numerals. In very good condition.
The Regiment was raised in December 1940. All six wartime cavalry regiments were disbanded in June 1948.

Essex Volunteer Artillery Victorian Officer's silvered large pattern button
Circa 25mm in diameter. EVA entwined below gun and Victorian crown and enclosed in an acorn and oak leaf wreath. Fixed shank and backstamped Hobson & Sons, 94 St Martin's Lane, London. Some wear to highpoints of silver plating otherwise in excellent condition.

Indian & Burma Army - Rangoon Volunteer Rifle Corps (Burma) Officer's Silver plated pagri badge
Circa 4.7cm tall and 3.7cm wide, a silver plated (unmarked) die struck (British made) wheat sheaf badge with two original small silvered lugs to the reverse. In very good condition with sharp detail. Scarce.
The Rangoon Volunteer Rifle Corps were formed on 9th August 1878.

Seaforth Highlanders early pattern Officers OSD bronze collar badge , Right Facing
Worn from 1881 until 1898, two original lugs to the reverse and in very good condition. Circa 3.4cm wide and 2.4cm tall. It would have been worn with a 'F' cypher. Die cast and bronze suggests it is an officer's OSD pattern. Scarce.
