WW1 Borough of Salford Special Constable Constabulary Police Mufti Enamel and Gilt Lapel / Cap Badge
Enamel good except for one slight line knocked out just before the letter "E" in Constable. Unusually, fitted with a small brass slider that has been truncated. Stamped '501' below the slider. No sign of ever having been fitted with lugs or a pin brooch. A superb matched pair, die cast in sterling silver and UK made, both maker marked JD &S (Dowler?) and with the date letter K (1934). Two original silver loops to the reverse of each. Each is circa 3.6cms tall. King's Crown.

5th Canadian Royal Scots of Canada Regiment Glengarry Badge
Worn as a glengarry badge 1884 - 1906 and then in WW1 by their successors, the 5th Regiment Royal Highlanders (Canadian Black Watch) as a sporran badge.
