A large die stamped brass example, worn circa 1948-1966. Two original loops to the reverse. Also a brass strengthening plate applied to the reverse of crown, a feature which I have observed on at least three other examples of this badge. Circa 5.8cm tall. Scarce.

New Zealand (NZ) Junior Cadets Brass Cap Badge
A large domed badge with two original loops. Dark toned, some minor staining and signs of service wear to edges and loops but in generally good condition. Worn by junior cadets between the ages of 12 and 14. George V cypher so post 1911. After WW1 they tended to adopt the regimental badge of the unit to which they were affiliated. Circa 5cms tall.
