The star of St Patrick in white metal with brass title scroll superimposed. In 1922 it was amalgamated with the 7th Dragoon Guards, at which point it lost reference to its Irish pedigree.

QVC 4th (West London) Middlesex Rifle Volunteer Corps Blackened Brass Cap Badge, pre 1902
A scarce die struck cap badge in blackened brass with two original loops to the reverse. "4th Middx R.V." on the circlet. Circa 4.3cms tall. Most of black finish intact. Post 1908 they became the 13th Battalion, The London Regiment (Kensington).

Indian Army - 4th Prince of Wales's Own Scinde Horse Hallmarked Silver Cap Badge
An officer's silver cap badge is hallmarked 1946 Birmingham (date letter W) and also stamped J.R.Gaunt London. Two original silver loops. Sadly the lance has been borken and does not extend as it should beyond the rider's head. Otherwise in good condition with sharp detail. Circa 3.5cms wide and 2.8cms tall.
