A gilt die cast cap badge on two original loops. Circa 39mm tall by 27mm wide. Slight twisting to loops and dulling to the gilt finish otherwise in good condition.

This was a two battalion force which fought well in the doomed defence of Singapore. After Japan's defeat it was revived and by the time of Independence in 1957 was seven battalions strong.
