Lancashire ( PWV ) Matched Pair of Woven White on Red Cloth Shoulder Titles
A matched pair in very good condition, hessian backed. Some traces of bluetack to the reverse.
The regiment was formed on the 1st July 1958 by the amalgamation of the East Lancashire Regiment and the South Lancs Regiment ( The Prince of Wales' s Volunteers ). Scarce.

Oxford & Bucks LI Embroidered Yellow Gold on Rifle Green Felt Cloth Shoulder Title
Oxford and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. In unissued condition. As worn from 1950 to 1958, but its predecessor (see my item 61738) was allowed to continue to be worn until stocks were used up. So perhaps not that common. Square ends.

Durham Light Infantry (DLI) Officer's Hallmarked Silver Collar Sized Badge
Die cast sterling silver with two original silver loops to the reverse. Circa 3cms wide and 3cms tall. Birmingham Hallmarks for 1946 (date letter W) and maker marked JRG & S (JR Gaunt & Sons, London). Most likely a collar but also facing correct way for wear on the cap or side cap. King's crown. In lovely condition with sharp detail.

WW2 Home Front Girls Training Corps ( GTC ) Embroidered Cloth Unit Patch - Rare
A very rare patch, possibly worn by an officer of the unit on the dark blue jacket. White letters GTC on a black background in a red circle. The edges of this show a lot of wear / damage but a very scarce item. Circa 4.5cm in diameter. Any information welcome.

Canada - Canadian 50th ( Calgary, Alberta ) Overseas Battalion CEF Enamel and Gilt Souvenir Mess Card / Menu Holder - Registered Design
A scarce and unusual find, a commecially produced (registered design stamped to reverse strut) menu holder in the form of an enamelled CEF Cap Badge above a pair of rifles as legs, with a hoop to the reverse to hold either a place card or menu. It stands 9cm tall, the badge is circa 4.6cm tall. Much of the blue enamel from the bottom scroll is missing but the other enamel is in good condition... read more

Attractive enamelled and silver hallmarked WW1 tribute medallion with suspension loop. Not sure of the significance of the stripped red and yellow shield to obverse, but enamel in good condition, with circlet neatly engraved "10th West York Regt." The reverse is engraved "Pte. 5th West York Militia Officer's Silver Plated Waist Belt Clasp ( WBC ) - Also of Yorkshire Regiment ( Green Howards ) Interest
A rare, silvered, waist-belt clasp for an officer of The 5th West York Militia with matching benchmarks ( No 1). In excellent condition with some tarnishing. Raised in 1853.
In 1881, the 5th West Yorks Militia became the 3rd Militia Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment ( Green Howards ). See Hayes "The Constitutional Force" p.295).
