Indian Army - QVC 62nd Bengal Native Infantry Brass Glengarry Badge
A badge of this pattern is described in the Sir John Chapple Collection gifted to the National Army Museum. Die struck in yellow brass with two original brass fixing loops to the reverse. Circa 7.6cms tall in good condition with no damage. The 62nd were disarmed in 1857 during the Indian Mutiny. Rare.

Kite shaped enamel pin brooch supporters' badge with original pin fixing and clasp. Stamped on reverse registered design 83830 (circa 1941). Circa 3.3cm tall and 1.1cm wide. In good condition with only minor surface wear to the enamel.

Removed from uniform, some wear but in good overall condition. Jon Mills records on page 319 of Vol 1 of BoBD that the use of the Canada title or maple leaf was to be restricted to Canadian Army Units. This title is depicted in Formation Sign No 276 October 2019 p13 (The Calico Printers Special).
