WW2 42nd Armoured / East Lancashire Division Felt Cloth Formation Sign
Removed from uniform. Sign worn on its point in diamond fashion, as shown. The 42nd Armoured was formed in 1941 from the 42nd (East Lancashire) Infantry Division who wore the same formation sign. In very good condition.

Pair of Uncut Printed ALFSEA / SEALF / FARELF GHQ Formation Signs
An uncut pair in superb condition. Property of a former Gurkha officer.
During wartime it was ALFSEA (Allied Land Forces South East Asia), then worn by SEALF (HQ South East Asia Land Forces) which succeeded ALFSEA in December 1946. Changed again on 15th August 1947 to FARELF ( Far Eastern Land Forces (British Army)), but with no change to formation sign design.
