MMP - British Military Mounted Police Gilding Metal Cap Badge / Shoulder Title
A brass cap badge / shoulder title for The Military Mounted Police with two hexagonal lug fastenings (east and west). Westlake states these shoulder titles were worn as cap badges up to 1904. Some service wear to the first M (slightly out of shape) otherwise in good condition and scarce.
